TRANSFER: Wolves forward set to join Man Utd at end of season

Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Matheus Cunha is poised to join Manchester United at the end of the 2024–25 season. The Red Devils are set to activate his £62.5 million release clause, making him the first major signing under new manager Rúben Amorim .
Cunha, 25, has been in outstanding form this season, scoring 17 goals and providing six assists in 34 appearances. His versatility across the forward line and dynamic playing style make him an ideal fit for Amorim’s tactical setup .
Manchester United have reportedly offered Cunha a five-year contract running until June 2030. To comply with Premier League Profitability and Sustainability Rules, the club plans to structure the payment of his release clause over at least three seasons .
