Tori Amos has announced her highly anticipated 18th studio album, In Times of Dragons, alongside a major UK and European tour set for spring 2026. The record, due out through the relaunched Fontana label under Universal, marks Amos’ first full-length release since 2021’s Ocean to Ocean.
Described by Amos as a “metaphorical story about the fight for democracy over tyranny,” the new album explores themes of resilience, myth, and modern-day political unrest. In a statement shared on her official site, she referred to the album’s title as a reflection of “a world where Dictator-believing Lizard Demons try to burn down democracy in real time.”
While full track details are yet to be revealed, Amos promised a body of work that blends her signature piano-driven sound with orchestral and electronic textures — a sonic landscape she says was “born out of defiance and hope.”
Pre-orders for In Times of Dragons opened on October 6, with fans who purchase before 1 p.m. BST on October 7 receiving early access codes for tour pre-sale tickets. The album artwork and official single release are expected to follow later this year.
The accompanying 2026 UK and European Tour will be Amos’ largest in more than a decade, covering over 17 countries through April and May. UK dates kick off in Sheffield on April 8 and include stops in Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Belfast, Dublin, and a headline night at London’s Royal Albert Hall on April 21.
Across the continent, Amos will perform in Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels, Frankfurt, Berlin, Budapest, Milan, Zurich, Warsaw, Tallinn, Riga, and Vilnius, among others. The tour will conclude in the Baltics at the end of May.
Tickets for most shows go on general sale from October 9 and 10, with early pre-sale access tied to album pre-orders. Full details and ticket links are available at toriamos.com.
In Times of Dragons is expected to reaffirm Amos’s place as one of the most daring and poetic voices in contemporary music — a storyteller unafraid to confront the fire-breathing realities of modern life head-on.
