BREAKING NEWS : Feisal Salum, the Kaizer Chiefs’ target, is in South Africa.

Feisal Salum, the talented Tanzanian midfielder previously linked with Kaizer Chiefs, is currently in South Africa. Reports indicate that Salum rejected a contract extension from Azam FC, his current club, and is now exploring opportunities to join a Premier Soccer League (PSL) team. Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly interested in signing him on a free transfer, given that his contract expires in June 2025. Additionally, Salum is said to be eager to reunite with Chiefs’ head coach Nasreddine Nabi, with whom he previously worked at Young Africans SC .
While Azam FC had initially stated that Salum was not for sale, recent developments suggest they are open to negotiations. A source close to the club mentioned that if no agreement is reached regarding his contract by June, Salum could leave as a free agent, potentially allowing Chiefs to secure his services without a transfer fee .
Therefore, Salum’s presence in South Africa is likely related to ongoing discussions with PSL clubs, including Kaizer Chiefs, about a potential move.
