Fifa President claims Cristiano Ronaldo could play in Club World Cup

FIFA President Gianni Infantino has suggested that Cristiano Ronaldo could participate in the upcoming 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, despite his current club, Al Nassr, not qualifying for the tournament. In an interview with YouTuber IShowSpeed, Infantino stated, “Cristiano Ronaldo might play in the Club World Cup. Botafogo, one of the Brazilian teams qualified for the tournament, has been linked to Ronaldo, with their coach, Renato Paiva, commenting, “But if he came, you can’t say no to a star like that” .

While there have been rumors about Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca’s interest in Ronaldo, a source close to the club clarified that any discussions were informal and did not progress beyond a casual conversation .
