Perth Glory midfielder Trent Ostler has signed a new two-year contract with the Isuzu UTE A-League club, extending his stay through the 2026–27 season. The announcement was made on May 21, 2025, as part of the club’s preparations for the upcoming 2025–26 campaign.
Ostler, a 23-year-old attacking midfielder from Subiaco, Western Australia, has been with Perth Glory since joining the PGFC Academy at the age of eight. He made his senior debut in the 2019 FFA Cup and has since accumulated 36 A-League appearances, contributing two goals. His journey has been marked by resilience, overcoming two ACL injuries and a dislocated shoulder to establish himself as a versatile and reliable player.
In the 2023–24 season, Ostler featured in 22 matches, showcasing his adaptability by playing in various positions, including central midfield, right midfield, and even left back. His consistent performances have made him a valuable asset to the team.
