Benjamin Sesko is “very serious” about joining Arsenal from RB Leipzig this summer.

Benjamin Šeško is reportedly “very serious” about joining Arsenal from RB Leipzig this summer. The 21-year-old Slovenian striker, who scored 13 goals in 33 appearances for Leipzig last season, has been a long-term target for the Gunners. Arsenal are actively seeking a new striker following a disappointing end to the 2024/25 season, which saw them fall short in both the Premier League title race and Champions League qualification, largely due to injury setbacks and a lack of goals. According to talkSPORT BET, Šeško is the leading candidate to join the Gunners .
In February, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Šeško had signed a new contract with Leipzig, removing a release clause and committing to the club for the upcoming season. However, sources close to Leipzig suggest that Šeško will be allowed to leave if a suitable offer, around €65 million, is made .
Arsenal are reportedly prepared to meet this asking price, with Šeško’s agent indicating that the player is open to a move, stating, “I think you should ask Mr. Arteta about that” when questioned about a potential transfer . This aligns with reports that Šeško is keen on joining Arsenal, viewing the club’s project under Mikel Arteta as an ideal next step in his career .
While there is no official confirmation yet, all signs point to Šeško being Arsenal’s top striker target this summer.
