MASSIVE WIN @ COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP

Tom Lammonby played a pivotal role in Somerset’s commanding seven-wicket victory over Durham at Riverside, securing their third consecutive win in the 2025 County Championship Division One.

Chasing a target of 265, Somerset resumed on 71/1 and reached their goal in the afternoon, losing only two wickets. Lammonby remained unbeaten on 104, marking his first century of the season and the eighth of his career. He shared an unbroken 139-run partnership with Tom Abell, who also finished not out on 73.

This victory propels Somerset to fourth place in the Division One standings, with several other matches still in progress.
