Mississippi State basketball selects a Big Sky Country forward to complete their team.

Mississippi State men’s basketball has finalized its 2025–26 roster with the addition of forward Tyler Stevenson, a graduate transfer from Southern Miss. Standing 6-foot-8 and weighing 215 pounds, Stevenson brings significant experience and scoring ability to the Bulldogs. Over four seasons with the Golden Eagles, he averaged 14.1 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in 2021. A Columbus, Mississippi native, Stevenson cited his local ties and long-standing admiration for Mississippi State as key factors in his decision to join the team.
This move adds depth to the frontcourt, complementing other recent transfers like Achor Achor from Kansas State and Amier Ali from Arizona State. Coach Chris Jans continues to reshape the roster, aiming to build a competitive team for the upcoming season
