TRANSFER : Arsenal moves for the former Manchester City player after the top forward target was hit with a £92.5 million price tag.

Arsenal are intensifying their pursuit of Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané, a former Manchester City star, as they aim to bolster their attacking options for the upcoming season. Manager Mikel Arteta, who previously worked with Sané at City, views the 29-year-old as a key target. Sané has been in discussions with Bayern over a new contract, but Arsenal could make a move if negotiations stall. Bayern, under new manager Vincent Kompany, are reportedly open to offers exceeding £40 million for the winger .
In addition to Sané, Arsenal are eyeing other forward options. RB Leipzig have set a £92.5 million price tag on striker Benjamin Šeško, which may pose a financial challenge for the Gunners . Meanwhile, Sporting CP have informed interested clubs, including Arsenal, that striker Viktor Gyökeres will not be sold for less than €80 million (£67 million), though this is below his €100 million release clause .
Arsenal are also close to finalizing a £51 million deal for Real Sociedad midfielder Martín Zubimendi, who is scheduled for a medical. His arrival could allow Declan Rice to play a more advanced role .
