BREAKING NEWS : Manchester United’s £55 million bid For Premier League Star

Manchester United have made an initial bid for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo, offering £45 million plus £10 million in add-ons. However, Brentford values the 25-year-old at £60 million and is not under pressure to sell at a lower price .
Mbeumo, who has one year remaining on his contract with Brentford, is reportedly seeking a substantial salary increase to around £250,000 per week, a significant jump from his current £50,000 per week. While United are willing to offer more than his present salary, they are unlikely to meet his desired amount. Newcastle United have already withdrawn their interest due to the high financial demands .
Mbeumo had a standout 2024/25 season, delivering 20 goals and 7 assists in 38 Premier League matches, making him one of the league’s top scorers. United are actively rebuilding after finishing 15th last season and missing out on European competition, with further reinforcements planned despite missing out on striker Liam Delap to Chelsea .
Negotiations between Manchester United and Brentford are expected to continue, with Mbeumo expressing interest in joining Ruben Amorim’s side.
