TRANSFER : Brentford agrees to pay price tag to get Caoimhin Kelleher

Liverpool have reportedly agreed to sell goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher to Brentford FC for a deal potentially worth up to £18 million. The agreement includes an upfront payment of £12.5 million, with additional add-ons based on performance and appearances .
Kelleher, 26, has been with Liverpool since 2015 and has made 25 senior appearances for the club . Despite his contributions, including notable performances in cup competitions, he has been unable to displace Alisson as Liverpool’s first-choice goalkeeper. With one year remaining on his contract and the arrival of Giorgi Mamardashvili, Kelleher sought regular first-team football, leading to his move to Brentford .
The transfer is contingent upon Brentford’s current goalkeeper, Mark Flekken, completing his move to Bayer Leverkusen for approximately €10 million. Once Flekken’s departure is finalized, Kelleher is expected to undergo a medical and finalize his move to Brentford .
This move marks a significant step in Kelleher’s career, offering him the opportunity to establish himself as a first-choice goalkeeper in the Premier League.
